Okay..So it's Saturday here, Friday back home. Today Sandy and I went to the Cloisonne Ware Factory and the Great Wall. There are pictures from inside the factory where the make this copper enamel that has been popular since the Ming dynasty. While we were at the factory we bought a set of Chop Sticks made with this process, they are very nice. After we left the factory we made our way to the Great Wall, or least a section of it. This section can reach out to 8 other sections. We only stayed in the one. To get to the top you have to take a mini cable car..These things are small and compact. There are also some pictures from the bus of the Olympic Aquatics Center "Water Cube" and the "Birds Nest" where the opening ceremonies were held along with the track and field events from the 2008 games...Hope everyone is having fun keeping up with us, because Sandy and I are having a blast.
